Custom European License Plate
Full European size, 20.5x4.4 inch, with 19 country side bars
A full size European license plate, 20.5 x 4.38 inches, printed on real 0.025" aluminum in the typeface actual registration plates use. Pick a country side bar, add a border, put your own text on it, and mount it with the two holes already on the car.
Standard or UV protected?
StandardFor indoor projects. Not UV protected, so it is the pick for anything that does not sit outside in the sun: garage signs, shelf displays, gifts, indoor decor.
UV ProtectedAn extra clear coating over the print that blocks UV. Great for outdoor use on a car, truck, golf cart or fence. Lasts 5 to 10 years in the sun.

What makes our custom European license plates better
The real plate font
Not a lookalike. It is the typeface European registration plates use, with the umlauts, accents and symbols that go with it, all on the keyboard.
19 country side bars
Germany, Italy, France, Ireland, Poland, the UK and thirteen more, including the classic black, red and gold German bar. Included, pick one in the designer.
Full European size
The long 20.5 x 4.38 inch shape, on real 0.025" aluminum with rounded corners. The same plate a European car wears, not a shortened novelty version.
Printed in the USA
Made to order in our own shop and shipped in 1 to 3 days. The UV finish is sealed for life outdoors, so it takes a car wash and a winter.
Country side bars
Pick any of the 19 country bars in the designer and it prints as part of the plate. Or leave it off and use the whole width.
The symbols are on the keyboard
This is the typeface European registration plates actually use, and it carries the symbols that go with them. They sit on punctuation keys, because a keyboard has nowhere else to put them, so a semicolon gives you a U with an umlaut and a backslash gives you a heart.
The same chart is in the designer while you type, so there is nothing to memorise.

The standard European plate is 520 x 110 mm, which is 20.5 x 4.33 inches. Ours prints at 20.5 x 4.38 inches on real 0.025" aluminum, so it is the genuine long shape rather than a US plate with European styling on it.
It fits any car with a European style plate holder, and most European imports already have one. On a US car with a standard 6x12 bracket it will not sit in the bracket, so people usually mount it with a euro plate holder or screw it straight to the bumper. It is a show and display plate, not a registration plate.
Nineteen: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, France, Germany, Germany in the classic black, red and gold, the United Kingdom, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden and Turkey. They are all shown further down this page and included at no extra charge.
No. Leave it off and your design runs the full 20.5 inches. Some people want the plain German look, some want the blue band, and some put a photo across the whole thing.
They are on the punctuation keys, because a keyboard has nowhere else to put them. A semicolon gives you a U with an umlaut, for example. The full chart is on this page and in the designer while you type, so there is nothing to memorise.
Yes, in any colour you like and as thick or thin as you want. Real European plates have a raised edge around the printed area, and the border in the designer gives you that look flat on the print.
UV Protected if the plate is going outside on a car. It adds a clear UV layer over the print that takes sun, rain and car washes without fading. Standard is the one to pick for a wall, a garage or a gift.
Not as your registration plate. In the US your state issued plate has to be displayed, so this goes on the front of a car in a front-plate-optional state, on a show car, or on a wall. Plenty of people run one on the front and the real plate on the back.
